The Power Collectives “RidgeBlade”

I am amazed by the different designs of wind turbines. While traditionally one might think that it’s a big pole with a big rotor on top, think again.

In addition to the traditional horizontal turbines (windmills) mounted on high poles, we have seen vertical turbines, some very large, some not that large, but still considerably large for residential applications.

Some chaps in the UK have invented the RidgeBlade, a wind energy generator that site on roof ridges, actually along roof ridges. Looks a bit like a shredder… Not necessarily meant in a negative way.
