Tesla’s New Gigafactory – what will it be running on

When Tasla will be their factory in Nevada, the first question that came to my mind was: Where's the water and power coming from?

Will they be using renewable to power their giga factory? We'll find out soon I guess.

The factory should add about 6,500 jobs and cost around $4-5 billion dollars to build, 10% of which will need to come from the winning state. Nevada has been eager to move away from its gambling-centric and winning the Gigafactory would be a major coup for the state even given the $500 million investment that it would need to make.
